Be respectful

Treat people and animals with care. No harassment, hate speech, threats, bullying, or targeted abuse.

Keep it lawful and safe

Do not post illegal content, instructions for harm, stolen goods, scams, or content that promotes animal cruelty or neglect.

Do not share others’ private information without consent.

Honest and relevant content

Lost/found and sighting posts should be truthful and helpful. Do not deliberately mislead the community.

Do not spam, post repetitive promotional content, or impersonate businesses or other users.

Media and privacy

Only upload photos, videos, or documents you have the right to share. Avoid posting identifiable images of other people without permission.

Reporting and blocking

Use the ⋯ (more) menu on posts, comments, user profiles, and direct messages to report content or behaviour. On posts and profiles you can also block a user; their content will be hidden from you.

Reports are stored securely, emailed to platform operators, and queued for city administrators where applicable. We aim to review credible reports within 24 hours.

If you cannot use the app, email dijana.nikolic@petlocale.com with a link, screenshot, or description.

Enforcement

City administrators may hide posts, dismiss or action reports, and apply account bans where appropriate. We may also remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to authorities where required by law.

No tolerance

There is no place on PetLocale for content that exploits minors, incites violence, or depicts illegal animal abuse. Such content will be removed and accounts permanently banned.
